Family Support Respite Program

The Project Child Family Support Program provided over 96,000 hours of respite since its inception in 1989. Any child from birth to 21 years of age, living in Mercer County who is registered with Special Child Health Services and identified as having a disability is eligible to apply for respite care. All family support workers must have at least a high school diploma complete a training program and keep current their CPR certification. In addition the workers must attend the program's in-services during each school year.
